5 Maine Wedding Bakers

5 Wedding Bakers in Maine

So let’s be real here, people are not just doing cakes anymore for their desserts, at their wedding. It’s basically ANYTHING sweet these days. Whatever your sweet tooth can handle, lovers are using. So I thought I would compile a list of my favorite “sweet” artists I know!

Mad batter Cakes-Vassalboro, Me

Nickie is a close friend of mine and she will never give herself the credit she deserves. She is an amazing stay at home mom and makes wonders in her kitchen! Oh gosh, can we talk about her chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate ganache?! Death by chocolate my friends. She is always being creative about her designs and willing to try something new!

Skye’s Artisan Bakes -Portland,Me

I met McKenzie when I went to a Maine Wedding Network event, and we kept crossing paths. Her quest for perfection in undeniable. Her cookies, cakes and other pastries are amazing. I remember having a cookie at an event she catered, and I could not believe how soft and not overly sugary it was! Not to mention Mckenzie is one of the sweetest people I know……. no pun intended haha

Check her out for any baking needs in the Portland area!

Blue Goose Bakery- Winthrop, Me

I found this baker when visiting my friend Nicki’s antique shop Freckle salvage co , where she was providing the cutest Gingerbread house/men kits! Let me tell ya, they sold like HOT CAKES! They couldn’t keep them in stock before someone else would be asking for them! So I looked into what else Jen has to offer and its a wide variety. Check her out for any event that you might be looking for!

Suga suga- Portland, Me

I met Tara at a Galentine event not too long ago and she brought her macaroons. Guys I watch baking shows with my daughter, and she is always obsessed with the macarons and honestly I had never tried them…….until Taras! I think I must have been just holding out on the best macoorn EVER! Those delicate little things take a real slight of hand and she makes it so fun. Tara also offers classes where you can learn to make your own macarons right with her………i’d say its worth it!
